Maybe I got lucky but I'm still using the same one I bought over 10 years ago. Has a few injuries here and there but the hat is still in tact and I wear it anytime I'm working outside.

These dont last very long. Almost like they were sitting in a shipping container at 120 degrees dryrotting. Theres no give to the straw, so when it bends, it breaks.
