I just started using my carlinkit with my android phone, and it thinks my Hyunday (with Android Auto and Carplay) connects as Carplay.. and continuously disconnects/connects while using.

Agree. I have the one with a qcm6125 , eqiv to sd665, and 4g memory, and it’s just good enough. I wouldn’t go lower specs

Ah right, most modern headunits 2015+ that have android auto have carplay but it seems like this acts as a carplay agent to spin up a Android OS. Let me fix the title my apologies!
