There's literally no plastic in these. The pods are aluminum and the packaging is cardboard.

fyi our coffee has molded. we cut it open and see white mold inside the capsule. it wasn't past the expiration date either.

Just get the silicone tops from amazon and reuse the metal pods. I have used the same pods now probably ~500 times with no issues.

The reusable pod you linked to is for Nespresso Original, and does not work in the Vertuo systems the pods in this deal are for. Reusable pods work fine in Keurigs, but not in Nespresso Vertuo...
