Once again you aren't taking into account all the maintenance costs that gas mowers inherently have. I'll stay with electric because small gas engines aren't going to be around much longer.

All else equal, more battery capacity is always nice. So, if two batteries were the same cost and performance, you'd want the one with more watt-hours (Wh) of capacity.

Remember unless you have a good warranty, battery failure will be costly to eat up. Gas model on the other hand lasts me a decade or more with basic seasonal maintenance.
