I wish they’d sell that shelf/rack as an add on. I see smaller ones on Amazon that hook to the shelves but nothing full length. I ended up getting the Blackstone soft cover on Amazon for $30. The...

Never owned a Blackstone before but I picked up the Walmart version last month after a buddy of mine was raving about them. Wanted Costco for the warranty but they’re sold out. Just my two cents...

My understanding is that the new walmart version has the new omnivore surface (I think I spelled thar wrong) so you don't need as many btus to get it just as hot.. thus saving lots of gas..someone...

The only common trait these models share is that they have a 36" surfaces. The Walmart model sacrifices arguably the three most important things a Blackstone needs. Higher heat output, the hood and a...

I recently got the Walmart one. Been on the blackstone red it and supposedly Walmart just updated it to the correct 34k BTUs. It’s unfortunate but so far I haven’t noticed it not getting hot enough....

While two images indicate 60000 BTU, I believe the description is correct or at least closer. The manual doesn't state the BTUs, but online discussions such as reddit seem to support the lower BTU.

One image shows a folding shelf, and this manual confirms that the shelves fold: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0312/7695/7740/files/2177_Manual_V5.pdf

You lose the hood that you can actually close while cooking. That is a huge deal.

I bought it about a month ago. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0312/7695/7740/files/2177_Manual_V5.pdf?v=1679420473
