FYI, in 2024 you can get the full $7,500 rebate - up front, even - even if your tax burden is less than that.

It’s not how much you overpaid. It’s how much tax liability you have. Overpaying more doesn’t make any difference. After all your deductibles, you still want to have at least 7500 in tax liability....

QMerit in general is overpriced, unless you can get it completely free, otherwise look somewhere else. I ask them to install outlet next to panel and they still ask over a thousand after disconnect.
