More of an FYI I tried Clonezilla and Veeam, and they both couldn't clone a surface pro, but macrium has never had a problem cloning anything. It really sucks to waste time trying other things...

You don't need crap bundled by the hardware manufacturer. Just get Clonezilla, which is a free and open source disk/partition cloner that is probably the most widely used software for this purpose.
