Yeah I snagged one as well. My twin force is 5 years old. Not brushless, needs a bag due to tear, and the wheels are worn wiggly. Batteries I have are not holding charge like they used to. . 250 is...

LMF413 , the 21” model with 4 & 2 ah batteries took a markdown and was $256 with the code out the door for me. Pretty good deal given we are in the middle of mowing season.

Not self propelled, not brushless, only 20v, 16" vs 21". The Hart is for trimming, or going really slow with a 16" cut unless it runs on magic. Its claiming 40min run time using half the battery...

I can't speak for others' experience, nor can I speak for recent products put out by GWT. What I can say, is that when I bought my house in 2010, I purchased one of the Greenworks 40V mower...

ya, I been eyeing my next set of lawn tool when my collection of now oldie 40V B&D finally bite the dust. I want something that will be around a while and with large selection of tools. Greenwork...

I'm just guessing, but 24V was probably their early standard for small stuff, and it's an easy upgrade path to sell the customers on larger tools without having to invest in a whole new standard....

It's not though. The second bay is optional. If it failed, you could still use the device by using the other port. Both ports are required in the 24x2 scenario, but not in the 40 or 80v case....

Yea and some you can even load two 40v/80v batteries and only pulls power from one till dry, then auto switches to the next battery for extended run time. Well they also have the auto switching...

It may come with 2, but the unit is only pulling power from 1 battery. So it still has fewer points of failure.

Interesting. I haven't run into a long grass issue yet with my 40V Ryobi. I haven't tried tackling 12" high grass or anything like that but I have run it through grass lengths without issue that...

No, the 40V is a single pack. Mine has an extra slot but there are no contacts, so you could store a second battery there if you're doing a large yard and then you don't have to run to the charger....

Just wanted to add my experience to this as well. While my 80v tools have held up well (push mower, blower, chain saw, trimmer, pole saw), their customer service can be very lacking (I think this is...
