8k video needs 24gb minimum to process. You can downsample from 8k to 4k or less but to output full 8k you need it.

Some games will use a lot as time goes on. But if you do any kind of 3D modeling or video editing you would be surprised how quickly 24gb will run out and you would need two of these things 😱
