Roku >> google . Easily. Google was always slower. Roku streams airplay, Bluetooth, etc no problem.

Roku is so locked down with a horrible process to change picture settings. GoogleTV/FireTV can sideload apps and even add VPNs directly to the set. Roku is for grandma.

I also just got a Hisense U8H TV with it and love it. Have other TV with Roku and used Samsung and LG as well and, by now, Google TV is my favorite in my opinion, so far

I dislike Roku because you cannot cast to them from google chrome. You can Airplay but I cannot just cast a video at will.

The Q7 does not have miniled though, you'd need the QM8 for that.

When Google TV OS first started to come around, it was sluggish and extremely slow. Roku versions are extremely user friendly and very responsive. It might have gotten better but still perfer roku os.
