I use these to hide my airtags in my vehicles, and then when needed, easily being able to remove them to swap a battery Also, use them to keep my airtag in place under the foam liner of my Pelican...

Why not just use 3M tape and stick directly? AirTag doesn't really need physical protection, and this just adds bulk. It should be easy to remove glue residue from the metal side.

These have a 3M strip on the back so they can be stuck in places a keyring won’t fasten to. Not everyone needs that, but it’s useful for a lot of equipment and certain types of cases.
