I would only consider buying dryers with electric heat pumps at this point. Much better energy efficiency, lower power requirements, no vents etc. Win win

It does dry well. The lint filter cover is the bigger issue. It's ruined a few articles of clothing. But most people don't seem to have that issue with it.

Does it dry well? I don't mind taking the cover off the disable the buzzer. But that is annoying. I have an old Kenmore commercial style one that's 28 years old. I think it's time to replace it.
