I would call and say that you're attempting to activate your eSIM device through the online activation portal and you can't find the $25 plan advertised on the BYOD page so you're calling in for help...

No, as a T-Mobile-owned brand, while deprioritized, there's no high-speed cap.
Because that's a different, non-standard/hard-to-get, plan.

It says in store and didn't mention any hotspot allowance. It also says $30 for the first month and then $25 with auto pay. Hmmm. People in others Metro posts say never go to store.

It doesn't sound like the same plan. The one from OP says $25, port in okay, 10GB hotspot and the post you link is for existing customer with 15GB hotspot and $24.

Yeah, you can activate online - but this BYOD plan is only available in-store or by calling. I'm not sure what the cheapest plan is.

If you have an eSIM capable phone you can call to get it activated on this plan, and they will usually waive activation. That's $25 total.
Otherwise, go into Walmart and get a SIM/Starter Kit for...
