Pixel shift. For native 4k, you have to spend $5k+. Cheapest option I've seen is Sony: https://www.projectorcentral.com/Sony-VPL-XW5000ES-Laser-Projector-Review.htm

I had this projector for a few months but sold it mainly because the HDR brightness was so inconsistent (either too bright or too dark) and was not adjustable beyond a dynamic tone mapping on/off...

Thoughts on how I can connect a soundbar without running a wire behind walls. Currently using BT audio while I look to upgrade to a proper discrete audio setup. But bluetooth requires me to connect...

I dont think with the native eye with good screen in front , you cant notice the difference. Well using Texas Instruments DLP 0.47-inch XPR is much better for this price. I have been using it for a...

Yes, but that's not the actual DLP resolution. It uses pixel shift to get that native resolution. Here's a quote from a review of this specific projector: > This projector offers UHD resolution of...

Can you recommend a good projector that’s 3LCD and brighter like you mentioned? I’m looking to upgrade my Optoma HD26. Thank you!

2000 lumens is good for dark rooms. Washed out if lights are on, even if dimmed. You want 3500+ for rooms with light.

I also notice RBE and it really makes projector upgrades much more expensive. Its especially noticable/bad if you have to look away from the screen and then back (e.g., if you have to check your...

Is it 4400 ansi lumens? Good to watch outdoor when it is dawn? What is the brand model. I was consider one with 2500 ansi but concerned it won't be good for outdoor use.

I don't experience the rainbow effect. Is that only when you mount it inverted? BTW, love the picture in a partially light controlled room. $1300 is absolutely worth it

Yes, 3LCD was a must for me too in order to eliminate RBE. I also bought a 4400 lumen pj so we can watch outside before it gets totally dark out

It's all pixel shift at this price but it doesn't really matter too much for image quality.
