Mine started problems right after the 1st year’s winter; the pedal gets stuck in the bottom and doesn’t want to come back. I tried lubricating the levers but it’s mostly plastic down there.

I don't see how one needs refills when the foot pedal plastic gears always break after a few months of use. There isn't a chance to get through the extras that come in the box.
