At this price I don't feel it's a good deal with pcie 3.0. I'd rather spend the money on pcie 5.0 @ 12gb/sec. Price is not low enough to use as a usb device.

Heat sinks only help if there's airflow. If the m.2 compartment isn't actively cooled by the main laptop fan, heatsinks won't help much. So the "heat spreader OR airflow" should be heat spreader...
