I picked it up at the Dewalt service center locally. I assume it was recon but I do have refurb Dewalt tools that have the serial number melted off. To me it looked brand new and it came in the box...

Decent deal if you need / want that battery. Tool alone can be found on marketplace usually quite a bit cheaper. Either way, fantastic tool. I own it, absolutely a beast for it's size.
