This isn't a 2TB SSD. High capacity drives often come with a price premium. Also, this drive has DRAM and is high end, for a QLC drive. It will substantially outperform the drives you're comparing it...

you guys seriously need to stop looking at worse case scenarios of this SSD. unless if you constantly require the transfer of huge files, you don't need to worry about slow long term transfer speeds.

You can use any NAS that supports SATA..... just use a generic 2.5" to 3.5" tray adapter or look at native 2.5" NAS like the Synology DS mini

2TB SSDs are down to $59 so 2TB x 4 =8TB. $59 x 4 = $236 so an 8TB price should be around this price. Why is this "deal" still so woefully overpriced? Someone tell Samsung to stop ripping people...
