Just add them and get 32 + 16 unless your board has a max limit of 16. If you have issues then just remove the 16 and sell it on marketplace

How to find out which specific ram works for my laptop?
I know it’s ddr4 SODIMM but not sure if it’ll take 3200MHz, 260pin, CL22.

Is anyone able to find the timings this runs on at 2133mhz? My Dell is limited to that speed so I want to ensure it has good timings at that level.

Once you finish overcocking, make sure you keep the load away from the motherboard. Getting the load on the motherboard will probably always give you problems 🤣🤣🤣

Stuff breaks. Nothing manufactured is perfect, and imperfections may eventually expose themselves.
Especially if you're prone to overcocking 🤣

How is it even possible for ram to die? Unless they used very cheap material/built quality.

Considering DDR4 ram prices are kind of low currently I would probably just grab another 8GB stick unless you have 2x4GB already although some MBs support 4 slots as well.

Ran cpu-z or cpu id and under the memory tab you'll see on the upper right hand if it is running in dual mode or not.

One often has to look at the additional timing profiles in the BIOS or using a utility like CPU-Z. You generally can get those configs on the dedicated enthusiast websites.
