People were real butthurt about the cleanup of the hospital at the end… makes Joel look like more of a monster.
Other than that stupid gripe, yes, the remaster is better in every way.

My local discount retail store had one copy of the bluray for $11.25. I'd rather get the 4K, but probably not for more than 2x the cost.

I would give the show a try, but the female is so hideously ugly that it makes me uncomfortable. I don't wish anything bad upon her, I'd just prefer not having to look at her.

I love 4K and this transfer sounds great. However, I'm not a fan of 4K only releases for 2 reasons:
