I wouldn’t be surprised if HBO removed this show at some point similar to how it removed Westworld - so physical media is a good idea.

I love 4K and this transfer sounds great. However, I'm not a fan of 4K only releases for 2 reasons:
4K players are expensive and I don't have 1 for each 4K TV.

I would give the show a try, but the female is so hideously ugly that it makes me uncomfortable. I don't wish anything bad upon her, I'd just prefer not having to look at her.

People were real butthurt about the cleanup of the hospital at the end… makes Joel look like more of a monster.
Other than that stupid gripe, yes, the remaster is better in every way.

4k is never a value for tv shows. they’re not mastered at 4k so you’re paying for nothing . sometimes HDR is a slight improvement but usually it’s minimal and produces too dark results

If you played through the game before watching the show then it was quite underwhelming. The only thing that was really exceptional was the episode with Bill and Frank.
