I think if starfield is sucking on your computer, the SSD is the least of your worries. Look at your cpu or GPU for the bottleneck

It is NOT the same. It may be the same flash but the controller and firmware is very different. So not exactly the same drive. Can’t be compared.

All true. But keep in mind that any drive can fail well before getting anywhere close to MTTF/TBW, including the "invincible" Samsung drives. Yes, Samsung drives can die, too.

A bit of a misnomer any SSD needs a heatsink for PS5. Almost every actual test I've seen is that even very fast gen 4 SSDs do not throttle when used on the PS5, without heatsink and the cover on....
