Yeah I would say tech support isn't going to be as robust as the engineers who create the manual and documentation, but I see where you're coming from. Absolutely if your only concern is power...

Per page 19 of the owners manual: “ The Energy Saver, default mode is recommended for normal operation, providing maximum savings and fast recovery. ” Note the box on that same page which states...

Mine is a 2022 mode and was installed in August 2022. So I’ve had a year of experience. I too have a Vacation mode. However, when I called the tech support line twice to deal with the app, both...

Again, here you go with less electricity. Of course it uses less electricity. No one said that it wouldn't use less electricity. That's the point of getting a heat pump water heater. We're talking...

Of course it is, that's why it's a heat pump water heater. I'm telling you what is most EFFICIENT, as my original comment stated. ...

I have no idea what you're talking about as I have it set to energy saver mode and it's set to 120 F. Vacation mode is the one that is when you're away. I have no idea if you have an older model or...

For me I couldn’t install a tankless gas heater without 6 foot clearance which is code requirement in my area & I didn’t want a tank gas nor electric tankless.

You are probably right in your case. Here in the Midwest my HP WH cost me about $150 last year based on $.15/kWh for reference with 2 peeps. I don't have gas/oil service so it was a no brainer for me...

You didn't hook it up right. Pool Heat Pump will also create a pond. The installers won't tell you. But need to accumulate and channel away the water. Drain etc

People still buy hot water "tanks". Go tankless - I've had a house full of guests several times with dishwashers and washing machines running. I've never had a cold shower. I clean it once a...

I love the idea of a heat pump water heater but the economics just aren't there for me. It's almost twice the price of a gas unit (after the rebate). That doesn't even cover adding a 240v circuit....
