Their Alexa app is required to register these buds. Periodically they don't think your phone has Alexa installed, so you have to resync with the app. Sometimes they hesitate to connect. Not happy...

Reviews I’ve read say that the last version had a better fit, which makes all the difference for earbuds with ANC. I have a pair of the last version and they’re very good.
