I had horrible experience with this crap . Always deprogramming itself. Traded it in for another and same thing. I would advise to avoid it.

It’s a communication system like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. you’ll need to buy a controller hardware to use it. If you don’t plan on buying more z wave devices this may not be worth your time.
