Yeah. And you don’t even need an adapter really, just a makeshift sleeve to make up for the extra width of the tube so it doesn’t flop around. I usually just wrap a few strips of thin plastic...

It’s just an in-store clearance. The sale pricing never seems to show up on the website. And different stores follow their own clearance schedule, so some stores will be priced differently or not...

Yeah, I used to dislike the 3xAAA ones, but I ended up picking up some 18650 batteries on sale at one point, so now I actually prefer having that option.

These are absolutely terrible. If you need something for your glovebox then go for it but I would go for something better.
