I have this. It gets extremely hot... like you can't comfortably hold it in your hands kind of hot. This happens even if you just have it plugged into the usb port and aren't reading/writing to it....

Got one last week for this price,not to bad of drive. Nice Drive for an inexpensive loaner drive you don’t expect to get back.
