6950 xt 20c hotspot difference is normal. my xfx 6950 xt is a beast. 4k60fps in new games and 3440x1440 100fps beast. highest temp it reaches while gaming is like 95c

I dont believe you should mix and match pcie cables from different power supplies. I've been told this can ruin the psu. Might want to look into it if this is what you are doing.

I needed a 6800xt and 6950xt for macOS OpenCore hackintosh support. If I didn’t need macOS support I’d 99% certainly go for the newer 7800xt (lower power, comparable performance, AV1 encoding)
