This is a YMMV question/answer. If you don't use a GPU, then no. Or if you use a low-mid tier card, still probably no. If you are trying to cram a 3090+ in it, yeah you probably should.

Yeah, mostly gone are the days of 5.25 external bays. I like the 4x 2.5 removable SATA bays for offsite backup purposes. I dont like external drives cluttering up everything!
