I bought this last month for the same price for use with my Mac Studio. Formatted it to APFS since I'm not going to use it on a PC. For my use case it's plenty fast and works just fine for the price.

T7 is way better. I have both and the Crucial slows down a lot which larger files or larger amounts of data transfers... Like sppeds around or below 100MB/s... Only getting close to advertised...
