I had one month plan. It is eligible to unlock today. A few minutes after restarting the phone and connecting to wifi, got a message that phone is unlocked and eligible to use with any carrier....

Took several hours to get it activated on tracfone. And had to get the $15 plan, as the $10 plan was out of stock from eBay.
It was a big enough pain in the butt, I wouldn't want to do it for more...

Just connect to wifi, google tfunlock and in the portal enter the assigned phone number and imei, then imei again and then name and email and they will provide 2 codes you will enter to unlock. Again...

It usually says that but you do not need to call, just go to the website and enter imei and phone number to proceed.
