I know environmentalism isn't in the forefront of the average Slickdeals user, but please stop using Kcups. They are such a waste of plastic for each 8 oz cup of coffee. Even the creator of the K cup...

There are many good grinders and they get very expensive. My personal favorite bang for buck are the Timemore C2/C3 series. Comparable to grinders 2-3x the price.

As soon as billionaires stop taking private planes to parties I’ll consider getting rid of my environmentally-unfriendly conveniences. I don’t like waste and I prefer green options, but when I...

Ground coffee only last a few days unless you can seal the grounds well just like a kcup. Most aromatic scents are in oil which evaporates quickly after grinding

How about buy whole beans at Costco and grind use their grinder in store?

Best alternative to kcup is: a good burr grinder and a reusable kcup.

Just as a side note, saw 72 ct at Costco today $24.99 - Amazon is still a better deal as you get 24 more for only a few bucks more

Recommend a good burr grinder

I have been consuming SF Bay brand K Cups for years and it is biodegradable. The K Cup itself is like a cotton mesh and best of all, the coffee tastes GREAT. They are often on sale on SD and I get...

Good point. I actually use this style a lot and agree they work very well. In fact, I found the material they use as both the container and filter to be better at filtering grounds than most typical...

Use to be against K cups, then I got divorced and didn't need to brew a whole pot, can't beat the convenience. I consider myself kind of a coffee snob and I hate to admit these McCafe pods are...

Yeah, the plastic waste and the fact that hot water is being brewed through the thin plastic is bad but it is very convienient McCafe is definitely underrated , blows away Dunkin KCups. I have...

I totally get the underlying sarcasm in this post. Without a doubt one single corporation negates all waste relief that even an entire state of private people can provide if we were all green savvy....

I use the "My Kcup" reusable pod with ground coffee and it's great. Stopped using the disposables many years ago.

Bought this brand at Costco - worst coffee ever. Was not a fan. I’m a simple coffee drinker - not a expert coffee flavor guy - by any means. I’ll drink Walmart brand, prefer pike or Pete’s
