Hmm... I only see the cheapest plan from Ultra Mobile with 3GB costs $14/month with $168 upfront annual payment required. Tello seems a better deal to me.

The 5GB hotspot cap appears to only apply to the "Unlimited" Plan. All other plans appear to offer all of that plans' data as available to use via hotspot.

correct. autopay resets the data & minutes. To rollover unused, you have to manually renew before the autopay kicks in -- people usually do it one day before the auto renew.
