Yeah cuz it’s silicone. Whoever is expecting a “click click” is used to plastic/metal only. Silicone is far better.

I have these and after awhile the locked position doesn't hold long term. You'll set the on a counter closed/locked and randomly a couple of minutes later they spring open.

I've used this type before, and I prefer the cheap ones. Because this one, in order to keep it clipped, you have to pull back on that black hook at the end. The cheap ones has a simple bracket...
