I have two of these. I like them a lot, haven't had issues charging or anything. The battery pack is a 1100mah li ion iirc. I generally prefer those over a nimh AA battery.

These are great, idk why people hate stuff so much. They are convenient and they look good, much easier then having to switch rechargable batteries or waste batteries.

They do have a “charge and play” kit with a rechargeable battery unit that takes the place of AA batteries and charges via USB.

I personally like the 8bitdo Xbox Chargers more. Got it on sale on Woot. Seems to be better than this style contact design.
