That's actually how impact rated bits and sockets are supposed to behave. 👍When over-torqued, it's safer to bend than being split into flying shards.

I got a much better and bigger set of Milwaukee bits at HD for -$28 a few months ago. The Ryobi bits are terrible for impact use. Check that Farm guy’s review.
