I looked for the web link I used, but could not find it. It was a combination of using roku settings menu and sonos menu (which should be same concept for receiver).

In a roku direct to sony tv/sonus sound bar setup, I had the issue where volume button would do that. I had to go through roku remote setup and I believe that fixed it.

Maybe you are right about PLEX. But apps such as Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+, Max, VUDU, Hulu, etc don't stream in lossless audio. That was my point.

If you are a gamer and need HDMI 2.1 maybe make the switch. Your nr797 is already a 9.2 channel receiver like this Pioneer lx305. I'd only make the switch if you're a gamer, otherwise no reason...
