My experience with recent 0xx and 1xx Pacificas (looking for something for my son) was that the entry level Pacificas are definitely not what they were 20 years ago. The fret work was terrible and...

This is the 600 series. You’re thinking of the 100 series. This guitar is on par with a Mexican Fender or PRS SE. On top is superior build quality, it comes with SD pickups.

The Yamaha is a fine and well made guitar with a great reputation. And this one has outstanding pickups. Noting the neck pickup is ceramic. And there's nothing wrong with ceramic. Just preference to...

Any serious incongruence with reason anywhere is certainly not dependent on guitars being absolutely identical clones, or "classes". The elephant in the room is major price differences, even many...

Are you seriously comparing this professional level Yamaha guitar with over $200 worth of pickups alone to a $60 eBay POS?

I don't know about this specific guitar, but for most bridges the strings will touch the bridge plates, so there shouldn't be any grounding issue regardless of the saddle material.
