you don’t need adapters, many subs have high level inputs which take speaker wire and do not require a dedicated sub-out post on the amp

my sub has high-level inputs, so I just run speaker wire from it to the posts on the back of the amp. So each amp post has two speaker wires connected to it- one going to a speaker, one to the sub....

Answering my own question- I ended up running all four speakers in parallel to the two channels works like a charm. I think it reduced it to 4 ohms, but still plenty of power. Loving this little amp.
