Even the unit completely off, no power, the Aux line is still "live" if the source is playing. Is it normal? Thanks.

you don’t need adapters, many subs have high level inputs which take speaker wire and do not require a dedicated sub-out post on the amp

my sub has high-level inputs, so I just run speaker wire from it to the posts on the back of the amp. So each amp post has two speaker wires connected to it- one going to a speaker, one to the sub....

“But 75W per channel at 8 Ω is still really good for an amp of this size and cost, it is similar to most low end receivers that cost $300 to $600 (Denon AVR-S760H for example)” But you can get an...

Answering my own question- I ended up running all four speakers in parallel to the two channels works like a charm. I think it reduced it to 4 ohms, but still plenty of power. Loving this little amp.

You could use this amplifier, some speaker wire to hook the speakers to the amp, then a RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect the laptop's headphone out to the amplifier.

Use an old Amazon echo dot and a 3.5mm to rca cable. You can set that up with Pandora, Spotify, or Amazon Music and ask Alexa to play whatever you want.
