Yes. Lowe’s advertises that as of 1pm it is first come first serve. YMMV whether they let you have them before that. Probably somewhat depends on whether they usually end up with left overs.

Same here. It sucks because my kid is too young now, but I wanted to grab a bunch to save for when he's older. At least Home Depot sells the kits for $5 on their site.
