While looking at the bulb, I changed it over to White & Color Ambiance, and I saw under the price a "Save 20% on 2 select item(s)" link. Doesn't seem like the 'only white' ones are on there, but I...

That is definitely...a take.

Maybe if you set power on state to last state? The caseta would will cut power when you hit the off switch, so you would still want them to turn on when you turn the caseta back on. Just make sure...

Have you integrated Hue and Lutron? I am thinking of trying out Caseta since my house has no neutral but want to keep the Hue bulbs I currently have.

In addition to what others have said, the one reason I run almost exclusively Hue bulbs is because they allow me to control what happens when the power goes out and then comes back. I've tried...

Came here to say that too. I've run quite a few variants at this point (GE CE Link, Govee, TP Link, among others) and they all were decent. Hue, at least in my house, is heads and shoulders above the...

Yep. I can’t stand the warm white of these bulbs

Lutron Caseta smart switches work well. I have the PD-6WCL in my home and they don’t require a neutral. And they work great, too. $45-50 a switch. Cheaper than a bunch of hue bulbs at times

I may have a single lifx bulb that I got through some Amazon promotion years ago. Or maybe I sold it on eBay, I don’t remember honestly. I’ve got like 40+ bulbs, strips, etc, a mixture of hue and...

Same here... Recently got the hue flood lights and they required a hub and could not work with Google or Alexa alone. Govvee I've never had to but anything other than the bulbs to work with Google...

30.99 is for white not white ambiance. Big difference.

Hmmm I have a ton of Govee, Lifx, Wyze bulbs, and Hue. Govee does some things really well. But I wouldn't put them in the same tier as Hue. Hue + the app experience stand alone on top. ...

That one is just the white bulb, not the ambiance one. I thought that too at first but you have to select the ambiance one. I didn't see a coupon for myself but still, the $37.99 is the lowest it's...

Another aspect for consideration (in favor of Hue) is that you are far less likely to find embedded spyware in Hue products compared to your average Chinese-branded knock-off brand.

Shows as $30.99 ($15.50/bulb) for me, no coupon.

Yeah, if someone thinks Hue lights are slow - they are doing something wrong. On a hardware level, they blow every other brand out of the water. They also have an open API and you can, in many way,...

Agree Hue is overpriced but I’ve found nothing slow about it, has been instant and seamless for me. Works brilliantly with HoneKit. Maybe because I only have about 20 devices so far, but I doubt...

No. Govee is Wifi and/or Bluetooth. Hue is zigbee and/or Bluetooth. The hue hub is a zigbee coordinator. But you can also use hue (without the hue hub) with smartthings, home assistant, and...

Is govee a hub system? I like that better than having a million bulbs on my WiFi. Just curious! I have been very curious about govee stuff too
