And carbon can crack easily if they hit a rock. But open water carbon is by far the best.

disadvantage of carbon paddles is they do not flex and can break like my Aqua Bound paddle did. I'm doing white water a lot and with pushing off from a boulder, the blade did not flex. I'm sticking...
