The higher the number of nits, the brighter the image will appear. The average laptop has a maximum brightness of 300 nits, which is more than enough to see clearly in most situations.

The point of IPS is better colors, which is completely defeated by 45% NTSC. 300 nits is basically the minimum. Garbage screen.
