Could be worth looking at ChromeOS Flex if you haven't yet. Puts regular ChromeOS on a regular PC or Laptop.

Way better deal for $25 more than this deal. Acer deal takes off an additional $25 in cart for me. I bought this in an earlier deal and it's definitely great performance for the price.

You are right if this was windows not a great deal but it is a Chromebook and these cost more than they should but that is the way it is.
