I just heard back from seller. He said that the link is for 8-digit unlock codes which are 2022 and older. The server for the newer phones is still off-line. So waiting is the only option.

I gave up with the porting - and paid another $50 for getting a new number. I bought ebay tmobile numbers for porting but my boost store has to log into tmobiles...
