Besides not sucking air out, I'm not sure storing coffee beans exposed to light is a great idea. And this thing has clear bottom portion for some reason.

All arrived broken on the bottom. I would suggest that you put a little water in the bottom to test the cracks. All mine leaked. These are totally useless. It appears to be a manufacturing error

Got some smart consumers here as I also agree the Airscape type is good but doesn’t remove air around the contents, though it should be good for most uses. I use Fellow Atmos and you twist the top...

If your coffee beans coming in a bag with a one way check valve, it’s going to be your best free storage option because it’s opaque (blocks light) and you can manually squeeze the air out.

The thing I don't like about these type of containers, is that there's no real way of knowing how "air tight" it actually is. You can do a test using water to see if it leaks, but that only tells...

So Airscapes work well in keeping the coffee fresh? The way it operates, you would assume you've only pushed out the air in the empty space above the beans, and not actually removed any of the air...

I only suggested Temu bc of price parity to this item. I recognize they can often sell inferior products, but those like Airscape and others on Amazon sell for much more (containers that purge air)....

I think airtight is fine if you burp them. I use mason jars in a dark cabinet. The beans off-gas while they are fresh, usually for about a week. During that time I burp them daily. After that they...

You two are absolutely correct. In my case, I'm in for two cuz they are cheap and I go through a one pound bag of coffee weekly so, the purist air-tightness isn't as much of a concern for me due to...

Airscapes are used by most coffee shops. I have several. Same idea.
