But more powerful and inverter. Carbs are cheap as hell. Also, 240v.

There are far better brands I would consider first. Example: Amazon had a Champion 6250 surge/5000 running gas only inverter for 389 about 2 months ago. Much quieter and inverter use less power,...

How much gas did you use over the 5 days?

Had gas only version of this for two years. Bought it for $279 at HD on sale. Always started on first pull and ran without a hitch. As others said, it is extremely loud, but it worked great for me....

Dead? OOS? All I am getting is "unable to add to cart. 400 error"

Forget the model ( it's in storage) but was cheap and its massively quieter. This thing is loud even for a non inverter but as others have said is good solution when you just need an emergency...

If you do not plan to use it on NG, there may be better/cheaper dual-fuel generators or inverters available.

Other than noise, why shouldn’t I get this deal?

Which inverter did you buy and is it much quieter? I keep hearing to buy one with a low total harmonic distortion otherwise it could fry my furnace. Don't even know what the heck all that means

I also use this when the power is out. It is my first generator, so I have nothing to compare to as far as the noise is concerned. A little hard to start on NG, have to push the choker lever all the...

I'm not an expert but I sure married one, and why not simply put a muffler on this thing. $24 plus some ingenuity. Many of them come with flex pipe to steer exhaust away from your dwelling.

I bought this on sale like 5 years. Starts right up every time (non ethanol is the key). It is loud but I don’t have nothing to compare it to and I only use it when the power is out so I could care...

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/sportsman-7-500-watt-dual-fuel-portable-generator-gen7500df-ss Anyone have this one? Is it worth it for having a back up generator for the time being.

Have owned this for 7 years. Used it for 5 days straight during a power outage after the hurricane. Changing oil and spark plug once during that time. Have used it multiple times since then....

I think this checks all the boxes for me for an emergency generator. I have natural gas behind the house and if the power was out for extended periods of time, this would keep our food from...

Came here to say almost the same thing. I got a couple propane tanks in the shed for the grill and one emergency one for this. Comes in handy in a blackout.
