It's probably 10% of what atmos is intended to sound like at best. I don't even know why they allow stuff like this to be called atmos.

This model has the up firing speakers on the sound bar, so real Atmos. Not saying it is the best implementation out there, but it fits the definition of Atmos

IIRC M51a-H6 had connectivity issues but they should be fixed by now because I rarely see people talk about it anymore

I bought both to compare them, side by side, and kept the M51a over the M512. It was louder, less veiled sounding, and had better channel separation. If Atmos matters to you I didn't notice much...
