I paid full price. I've built dozens of LEGO sets including the Voltron set. I never had an issue aside from a missing piece or two. So with that said, I don't expect it to come apart or not stay...

I had the same issue transforming. It came apart at the waist. I'm a little surprised with a LEGO product that it happened. Other than that, it's a great product.
