Went to my local Lowe’s and was told they couldn’t price match HD because it’s a “sale” price, not their everyday price. Ended up getting it anyways and returned the batteries.

I'm not super familiar with Milwaukee, but if anything, I'd say that M12 compares to 921/923 (½"/⅜" drive compact impact). This (891) is the next step up from the 921/923.
