it's basically a toaster oven but it has a fan at the top that blows the hot air onto the food which makes it more efficient/cook faster or something like that

Yes. Sometimes I just want to cook / reheat something that is not suitable for microwave and the oven is too big. Think the oven takes 10 minutes to pre-heat when the air fryer can get the job done...

Yes, most larger air fryers I believe are 1500 watts and go up to 450 degrees. This is only 1300 watts and only goes up to 400 degrees
